Kynley's 3rd Birthday!

A week or two late, but at least I'm getting to it. I quick recap of Kynley Ray's 3rd Birthday! I know I will feel like this after every birthday, it is just surreal to me that I have a three year old.

On her actually birthday we woke her up with balloons and a new outfit for the day. The kid loves clothes. She was so excited for everything. We took her down to the aquarium in Seattle, she loves fish and it was a great place to run crazy and let her do what she wants! My friend Andrea and her son Cannon joined us, as well as one of your friends who is in town from Australia, Fleety. He played toddler wrangler to Kyler and chased her around so I didn't have to and could focus on the birthday girl! (thanks fleety!). We went to lunch at Red Robin and then home for a 4 hour nap...she was exhausted. My parents and little sister came over for dinner, we did a picnic on the floor which she loved. Cake and way too many presents to end the night.

For the last three months she has been talking non stop about wanting an Elsa birthday! So I went into full Pinterest planning mode to attempt to transform our living room into the ice castle. The day before the party I got sick with the flu that both of the girls had, thank god my older sister Shanyn was in town to do all the decorating for me while I tried to get some rest! Thanks Auntie Nanyn!

After some serious research I found a company where you can have a character come to a party. They sing, face paint, tell stories and entertain the kids. Best decision I ever made! We kept it as a surprise so Kynley got to open the door to Elsa. She was a bit in shock the whole time she was there, but didn't want to leave her side. It was so much fun for the kids, especially since Elsa is everyones favorite at the moment. She painted the kids faces, Kynley got a tiger...because why would you get something like snowflakes when you can be a tiger right? We had a great combination of family and some of Kynleys friends there. Queenly got spoiled and had a ball! Thank you to everyone who came, it was a great day!!!

Now our focus is geared towards leaving for Hawaii in less than a week for my sisters wedding!!!!

Elsa was from this company-http://amazingfairytaleparties.com she was great!

  1. Wonderful frozen birthday party! You just pulled off thing perfectly. All the decoration is pretty and gave a feel of frozen movie. I would like to use this theme on my daughter’s birthday. We have planned to rent one of her favorite party venues in Chicago for her birthday party.
